Using Facebook and a video, Saul Alvey gets 80,000 views and earns his certificate as a Digital Footprint Specialist and is now a Social Media Assistant

You might ask, "Can these simple skills really make a difference?"   Here is a story by Saul "Blue Martian" who helped a neighbor get 80,000 views.

TESTIMONIAL:  I did an experiment on Facebook, I made a video of my neighbor who puts out a Christmas village in his living room for the last 20 years.

I asked him if I could film it. I didn’t get many likes but I clicked a promote this video, so for $6-8 I was boosted in visibility well long story short from Nov 23- Dec I reached over 80k viewers, 1100 likes , 600 shares and more messages than I could count , I set up the demographics and most of the audience engagement was from Latin America. Most messages wanted to know how much the village cost. If I had had a Christmas supply link or an amazon supplier I think it would have had its "15 minutes of fame."  But you are right in order to reach 80k views I was getting billed by Facebook ever few days , it ended costing over $60 to reach this audience so now if I had something to actually sell or affiliate then it would be nice. 

Facebook offers you more options once you start spending $ with them , but I think a website would be necessary.
